For those late nights when you have to have poutine - that's French Canadian for fries, cheese curds, and gravy. The Thermals have only two words to describe the food: "So good."
Great stop for vegetarians. Veggie pho with veggie broth - fresh rolls with tofu. Would have preferred more veg - less noodle - but a solid pick for inexpensive quick meal downtown

Open super late Friday and Saturday till 4am. Lots of veggie options for vegetarians (my fiancée is one). I had the 3 meat pho and she got the tofu pho. You must try the garlic wings and papayasalad

Best Chinese-ish food in the neighborhood. Shareable plates. Cherry tofu and Kung Pow! beef were well seasoned. Ask to increase the heat level when ordering.
Stupid name for a restaurant, but actually really impressed with my pork belly mapo tofu! The flavor was great and the pork was so juicy.
Today I tried the Broccoli with Tofu curls. It was delicious. The curls had a great texture. I love that this menu has so many vegetarian and vegan options. Really a must try!

Until now this has been the most authentic Korean restaurant that I have been here in Portland. I haven't tried the expensive meat BBQs but the tofu soup and mandu is pretty good.
This is not fusion. This is real Korean classics executed perfectly. The steamed dumplings taste wonderfully homemade.

WW Cheap Eats 2011 favorites: fresh tofu (fried and coated in lemongrass for $3) or served hot 'n' plain with soy sauce (60 cents for 8 ounces).
Fresh-made soy milk, tofu and other soy products, including spring rolls and such. Their tofu pudding is delicious! I think they have both with sugar and no-sugar soy milk. Highly recommended!
Best tunes of any Portland restaurant / lounge. Fries are over the top great. Try the spicy tofu sauce too.
