GourmetLive: Chef Cathy Whims serves up perfect oven-roasted pizzas (which is based on a venerable sourdough brought over form Nice), elegant hand-wrought pastas, lusty Italiante steaks, and fire-baked fish dishes
Jeff Cha: If you got young kids ask for some dough for them to play with.
Ricky Engelberg: Budino...the best. Can't go wrong with the margherita + prosciutto pizza.

lydia lauer: I suggest Ed's Plate w/ sour dough and of course some of the jam!
Christopher Coffee: Amazing find. The Sasquatch with jack cheese and the spicy pork sausage has a nice kick. The sourdough toast is so tasty you won't want butter. The Dirty Harry in the Big Bertha glass hits the spot!!
Gehlen Exum: My go to is the Loaded Bowl with a scrambled egg. Just sampled a Maddie Cake, which was delightful!

shads ♠: It's not on the menu anymore but they'll still make the Monte Python - sourdough french toast stuffed w/ black forest ham & swiss cheese, topped w/ powdered sugar & maple syrup. Also fruit. So. Good.
Quintein: Sourdough french toast was really good and was filling. The mimosa is served in a pint glass.
Stefani K: Only had sides: the potatoes and carrots which were both amazing!! But I also had the blue cheese cheesecake with blackberry sauce. A-fucking-mazing!

Jared: Grab a slice late night at the window. Call ahead for a full pizza. Don't forget the dough bites!
Ian Ryan: Got 2 slices, 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni. Both had raw dough. Not sure how you do that with thin crust, unless the cheese is remarkably like raw dough. There are better slices in town for the same price.
Cody Torgerson: Have had their pizza a few times now and am hooked! Not only is it delicious, the delivery is crazy fast! You'll never know unless you try em'!

Bommy: Yeast dough is great so get a dozen and enjoy for the next 2 days. Captain crunch doughnut and 'no name' chocolate peanut butter doughnut are favorites.
Lily: Long wait, but worthwhile. The ODB was fab. The dough itself is really the standout, so get whatever topping sounds tasty. I found the maple on the maple bacon to be too sweet.
Behrad Eats: Our favorite: the Memphis Mafia Doughnut made of fried dough with banana chunks & cinnamon sugar covered in a glaze with chocolate frosting, peanut butter, peanuts & chocolate chips on top!
Josh Mitchell: Ask for a butterfly (chocolate, cinnamon, and peanut butter with a fried dough)
Heather Mader: Buttermilk bars...best I ever had, hands down, anywhere. Moist and flavorful with a crispy exterior. Old fashioned donuts done right. Maple cruller was crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside.
Trent Aldridge: Buy the Butterfly!
Johanna Sung: Cookbook author/baker Ken Forkish puts an American twist on French pastry classics like the Oregon croissant(he adds fresh berries to the dough) & macarons (great taste, but texture is fair too bumpy)
Joshua Kagi: Ken is one of the first of Portland's ever-growing list of local celebrity chefs. His bakery is among the best this side of the Atlantic. Monday night pizza night is a neighborhood favorite.
Peter Robinett: The Oregon croissant is incredible.

Charlotte Katz: 1950s-style diner in the heart of northeast Portland. With great food, quick service and an upbeat atmosphere, this is a must-try spot for locals and visitors alike.
Hob Nocker: French toast is seriously the best I've ever had.
