The tres leches is absolutely delicious. Worth every calorie.
Try the cow tongue tacos. I know, sounds sketchy, but it's delicious & tastes like beef cheeks. Also the tres leches cake and flan are worth saving room for dessert.

Start with a sangria, the matador combo is enough food for two for two or three meals, and the desserts are great, especially Tres Leches cake

Such a great dining experience. The sangria is great, churassco was perfect, and the pabellon criollo was a different but amazing dish. Please go and support this local Latin restaurant!!
Just ate the skirt steak the chimichurri sauce was amazing. Eating the tres leches, equally awesome. Great food, inexpensive and live music!

Small, slightly kitsch neighborhood spot. I ordered the Blackwell Tart (raspberry jam, frangipane, pie crust). Delicious but too sweet; I recommend sharing it with someone. Service very friendly!

Get an Arepa and fill it up with whatever you want. It can get a little messy, but worth it. Tres Leches cake is pretty good here.
Hefty fried plantains are smashed, fried twice to get extra crispy, then used as the sandwich "bread" for a variety of fillings. We love the fried cheese version; it's salty, meaty, and delicious.

The almond cheesecake is really glorious. The nutty crunchiness of the toasted almonds works perfectly with the rich, creamy, and not-too-sweet cheesecake.
The personal size cheesecakes don't hold the same texture as their regular cheesecakes (the regular size ones are perfect).
Arepa pabellon, cachapa, tres leches.. Nuff said.
Small place. Food is delish. Chicken soup is huge and amazing! Tastes homemade! Wasn't impressed with the tres leche cake but otherwise all the food was great! Will be back!
All of their arepas are made fresh. I travel all the way from Brooklyn for arepas at Arepas Cafe. Enough said.
