Definitely try the hot dog and the ribs. Both are the best in town. The best selection of Mezcal in North Carolina, maybe the entire east coast. Rum, tequila and specialty cocktails trump all!
Drinks and bartenders are amazing. Great food and atmosphere. One of my favorite places to go in Raleigh!

Beef & bacon sliders are really good, also the sesame tuna. The veggies with the tuna were a wee bit too salty with soy sauce. NY strip was really tasty & tender. Huge bourbon & whiskey choices.
Try the absinthe service for the "event" of dripping ice water through a sugar cube. Ask questions. Get the history. Just a nice little time. No pretense.
Every drink is $11 whether you get a rum and coke or one of the super fancy awesome specialty cocktails. I think they're trying to give you a hint. Get one of the cocktails. I like the tuxedo #2.

Great draft selection and solid - albeit sometimes emulated - vintage game selection. I'd imagine vintage cabinets cost lots o'cash. Either way, awesome 'brotime' spot.

My absolute FAVORITE bar downtown. They specialize in gin drinks, but be sure to try the Irish and/or pirate coffees and other cocktails! Also, you have to sit at the bar and say hi to Duke and Zack!
Can't beat their fresh desserts. Menu is always changing. The ice cream sandwich is my current favorite.
