I love the concerts I have enjoyed at the Red Hat Amphitheater this summer. The outside venue adds to the experience as well as catching local bands before and after the show at Deep South The Bar.
Great environment for concerts when it's nice out. Just make sure you check the weather because you will get soaked without intentions to if it rains!

Crafty cocktails and live jazz.. I loved the lounge atmosphere, definitely one of the best bars in the downtown Raleigh.

The permanent collections, exhibits, and even outdoor space are all wonderful. You can spend a whole day here.
It kind of pisses me off that it says this is a bar, its totally a music venue. But lincoln theatre is freakin awesome, one of my favorite venues.

Great place to see fantastic bands that simply don't have the following to justify an outdoor venue! Bar staff is quick and friendly and for being so small, rarely do you feel too cramped.

We go there almost every night and for breakfast every weekend. We LOVE to hang out with great folks on the patio. Live music 6 night a week, wait-staff knows everybody by name and "usual" drink. :)

Other than the fact that they seem to ALWAYS be out of chai, I really like it. Super cute, staff is super friendly, and they often have live music.
