Decent museum. Too much security walking around, causes it to lose the relaxed atmosphere you would expect to have at an art museum. I do understand the need though. Not enough parking.
The permanent collections, exhibits, and even outdoor space are all wonderful. You can spend a whole day here.

I could've eat here every day. The kale salad is the best kale-anything that I've ever had. Chicken shawarma with the garlic paste is off the charts. They offer gluten free pita!

Service not as good as usual. Very slow. Ostrich appetizer, which is usually very good, was a bit overdone and a little bit on the skimpy side. Hubby's crab claws were very good, though.

Skip Angus Barn, Vinnie's has much better tasting food. Bacon wrapped filet is the best in the area, and the mac and cheese is divine. Make sure to make a reservation, it gets crowded.
Cowboy steak is a great deal at a 32+ ounce bone in meal. Pricey but when made well this is a great piece of meat.
How does this place not have a better rating!? Best steak in Raleigh hands down. Much better than Sullivan's or AB. Get the fries or the gouda potato with your fries.

Lots of good seasonals (pumpkin beers) and specialty stuff (sour beers). Amazingly, they have more selection that Peace st market (really saying something). The Growler selection is also nice
An oasis of craft beer, world widely speaking. Stop for a while, grab a pint of those beers on tap, ask the kindly staff for a recommendation for take away and finish it at home!

Try parking in the parking garage- bottom floor by JC Pennys. It provides quick access and you save time driving around.
Best parking is in the parkings decks.
Parking lot can be super busy; coffee shop is pretty noisy, so if you're planning on doing work, it's something to consider.

My first time in...Looks like a winner. Not too loud, the owner is very friendly, lots of room, coffee is great and it is right around the corner from me. I plan on being here often.
Love the coconut almond crunch ice cream. It's like eating a frozen Almond Joy. They also make milk shakes from any ice cream they have. Yum!
