Great Hotel. We stay here often when in LA. Baleen is amazing place to eat. Service is sometimes slow at front desk but they have always took care of us and made any issue we had right.

Lousy customer service. For a "boutique" hotel I would have expected much more. Front desk is clueless, rooms are basic, and walls thin. For my money I would stay elsewhere.

Opened 1977. Cozy, old school Italian-American with red leather booths, walls covered with photos, murals on the ceiling & outside wall and a bar with colonial revival stools.
I parked free. Service was wonderful all the staff were friendly and fun. If you have time walk on the walking path to the pier. It's absolutely beautiful.
Bring a friend on their birthday to have them publicly humiliated by dancing.

Carnitas California Burrito Combo is the best, specially when you ask to make it "wet". It doesn't say in the menu, but it comes with French Fries 🍟 inside the Burrito as well. Perfect with Horchata.

Best happy hour! Try the Spare Ribs, Fiery fish and garlic noodles with chicken ( I asked for extra garlic) SOOOO good.
