Just amazing. It was all perfect. Best restaurant in Reykjavik for sure. Fish Soup WOW, Cod WOW (best I ever had) and Skyr WOW. Staff is also amazing.

This place is so cute and rustic! Quite tiny but cozy and worth the 20 minute wait. The food is fantastic! The cod with root veggies and the fish stew were both outstanding! Great drinks & desserts!
Get the fish soup! Spicy and hearty with lots of fish, and a deal at a couple bucks less than the fish and chips.

One of the best fish dishes I ever had in my life. I had arctic char in almond honey pan and it was food for Nordic gods.
If you're at Reykjavik, you should come to this place. I'm really impressed, the best fish I've eaten in my life. I'd come back if I would be in Iceland in the future! Amazing atmosphere!
Artic cod was amazing and the fish burger was nice and moist just the way it should be. Would recommend a visit if you are looking for a not to expensive dinner.
Try the sushi and sashimi combo plus a side of wakame - Fantastic japanese cuisine, made even better with the good company.
Had the tasting menu. An astounding 9 courses with minke whale sashimi, blueberry cured wild goose,tempura shrimp, cod, grilled salmon, lamb amazing veggies and impeccable service. Not to be missed!
The lobster soup is world class good and the minke whale (as well as horse and fish) served on sticks is just over the top — and illegal in many countries. Cosy, quaint ... and plastic cutlery only.
You wouldn't go wrong with lobster soup! Try also one of the fish kebabs, from char, salmon to cod, oh and everything is fresh here! The potato salad is also a perfect side dish to the meal.

Everything is amazing. Salmon is out of this world. Flounder is also very delicious. Also enjoyed the puffin/whale dish. Will come back for sure.

My absolute favorite place in Reykjavik. Great for eat-in or take-out ('THE' fish takeout in town), reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Try their salad, gingerale and of course skyronaise sauces.
Fresh and perfectly cooked cod and red fish, taste absolutely stunning tho you might wanna add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor(Better than Skyrr dipping). Delicious salad(Orange salad was nice)

Amazing meal and fantastic service. While we loved Fish market we actually preferred Fish Company. Seafood 3 course sas delish, so was the Christmas pork dish. Nothing will disappoint you there!
Servers will tell u that the local specialities are a must: lamb & salt cod. Lamb was melt in ur mouth delicious & cooked perfectly. Beef bourguignon was also solid on flavor tho meat was tougher.
Salted cod with something strong is an excellent combo.
Amazing halibut special! And French onion soup was yum! Fun vibe and cool bar downstairs. Beware though, not much for our vegetarian friend.

Classy restaurant in the city centre. Good wine selection and very good food - both fish and meat. Try the minke whale and a meat dish on the grill.
Really expensive, but worth it when in Reykjavík. Very nice. Get the fish sampler and try all three fish! Plus the garlic potatoes are to die for. Lamb chops were excellent as well.

Arctic char preparation v good. Smoked trout excellent. Bread great. Halibut soup good in concept but broth was flavorless milk; Lamb leg +heart uninspired; white chocolate skyr dessert saccharine.

Had a delicious Icelandic sampler platter of mashed fish, smoked trout, smoked lamb, fermented shark, & dried fish. Definitely recommend it, & had a nice schnapps of birsk to complement it afterwards
The fish stew is delicious! Try the hakarl as well ;-)
