Lamplighter is known for their micro-roasted coffee. Made in 10lb batches, there is a great deal of care put into their product. Their menu is stellar and most dishes can be made vegan or gluten free
For breakfast that looks as pretty as it tastes, get the parfait. Lamplighter’s own granola tops off layers of yogurt and fresh fruit, inside one of these lovely, faceted Mason jars.
Great place! Love to sit by the big open windows and people watch. Food and service are excellent. :)
An adorable French cafe in Carytown
This busy bistro is a Carytown staple. Sit by the window for some of the best people watching or sit at the bar for happy hour specials including half-price oysters, shrimp and burgers from 5 to 7pm.
Their brisket is second only to the brisket I experienced in Texas. The jalapeño mac & cheese is delicious.
You need this mac n cheese in your life.

Don't leave without trying the crispy pork belly. And the burger is delightful.
For dessert, the chef will prepare ice cream using liquid nitrogen for you table-side. Creamiest ice cream I've had the pleasure to indulge in. The ice cream flavor will vary night-to-night. Try it!
Recommending one dish here would be a disservice. Try everything and leave enormously satisfied!

The black bean soup is delicious! But do ask them to bring it before your dinner its a very healthy portion! Enjoy!

If you don't like your burger cooked well done (hockey puck) don't bother ordering one. Asked the manager for a medium cooked burger and was flat denied (Grim Face). What a dick!!!
