HISTORY: The first baseball game ever played at Petco Park, on March 11, 2004, was the first game of a four-team NCAA invitational tournament hosted by San Diego State University.
The Most Interesting Man in the World: I had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at this very stadium. As soon as I left the mound I was offered a 7-year contract. Unfortunately, I was not able fulfill due to a prior engagement.

Michelle Jones: Great place to take a walk, huge grass areas to play. Shops, grocery stores, restaurants and a great playground for the kids.
Laura Farlett: Great place for kids! And a great place for a run.
Kelly Abbott: Two large playgrounds for the kids. Large fields for pick-up soccer and lacrosse. Nice, new, clean facilities. Tables and outdoor grills for family get-togethers and birthday parties. Lots of parking.
Olympia Beltran: The Arlo Guthrie concert was WONDERFUL. The venue was beautiful, cozy, perfect for a folk performer. Will definitely be back.
HISTORY: Built in 1924, this was originally a grand movie palace. It would later be converted into housing for the U.S. Navy during World War II. It was designated a historic site in 1972 and restored in 2005.

FanCons.com: When there's a big convention, it can be tough getting a seat for lunch. Plan to eat at off-times like 11am or 2pm and you'll have a much easier time.
