Salt cod fried rice is SUPER good. Tea smoked eel is also great!

Excellent sushi. The Dragon Roll is fresh, with avocado, eel and real crab. Very kid friendly in this basement restaurant where they give kids ice cream at the end of the meal. Orange Delight=awesome.
Go solo if you want to be seated quickly without being wait listed. You can't go wrong with their rolls, my favorite is the Pokemon (mango!) and anything with eel.
Under the radar. Received a free appetizer and still thinking about the lambada roll with tuna, salmon, and cucumber topped with eel, avocado, eel sauce, and tobiko.
Everything here is good, it is clean, and the staff are always friendly. Try the sashimi salad or the fried shrimp.

Must try their eel clay pot rice! Don’t be fooled, a “small” will feed 4 people. The roasted chicken was just OK.
Authentic chinese food. Duck and pork tongue, excellent.

The edamame set rules. Love the cod roe, shrimp, and salmon. There’s often a line, but it moves quickly. This is one of my favorite lunch spots in SOMA.
49 roll. Spicy scallop wrapped in rice with salmon n a thinly sliced lemon. Create your own combo, order a Hawaiian roll and uni sashimi on the side to top it off.
Basic sushi. Nothing fancy or too expensive. Get the spicy scallop is tasty.
Not as much fish selection as the fancier sushi restaurants, but the price and quality are right.

Sit at the sushi bar and have Jason make you whatever you want: omakase. Jason is a wonderful, hard-working and generous guy who (humbly) serves the best sushi in SF.
Don't order. Just tell Jason to make you enough for two. He'll do the rest.
The dragon and ninja are awesome! And I think I just had the best sake in my life.
