Like the name, there are many things in this place that scream "IM OUT IN THE MARINA!!" BUT! the food was good and the beer was too.

Q is a Marina and San Francisco legend. He makes every sandwich himself with the precision of a Japanese sushi chef. You can't go wrong with the basic turkey sub, be sure to add avocado.
Go to Marina Submarine and order "the Submarine". The owner makes all of the sandwiches himself. The place doesn't look like much, but there is line out door at lunch time! best subs ever! gotta try!
Go to Marina Sub and say hello to Q (the owner and main sandwich maker). Order a regular sub and spot the single playing card in middle of the ceiling.
Watch out for ignorant dog owners. Dogs should be on lead & the owners should pick up their dog mess.

One of my favourite places in SFCO. I love to sit in the bar with a Bloody Mary and a burger. This place is a must.
Affordable rooms. Clean hotel. Close to the marina. I prefer to stay here near a few nice neighborhoods, as opposed to union square to escape the touristy stuff.
