Get the Truffle Burger and sides of tempura onion rings w/ sweet potato fries + roasted garlic aioli & Umami ketchup. It's divine!
Try the Triple Pork Burger (with ground pork, chorizo and bacon with manchego cheese & pimento aioli). And the sweet potato fries...and tempura onion rings are good too. The only bad is the price.
Cool indy vibe & friendly staff, order at counter & they bring the food to your table. Excellent fries (truffle salt!) & onion rings Burger meat is tasty, but wasn't melt in your mouth. May return. B

The Black Truffle Grilled Cheese with Crispy Onion Rings are a perfect comfort food. Pair it with a glass of wine or beer. The portion size is perfect, which makes it not over the top indulgent.

Vegetarians can find a fair amount of selections on the menu, and the back patio is great during warm weather (it’s also often quieter than the main room).

Two words: grilled onions
One of the few remaining original Santa Monica spots. They’ve done a good job preserving its soul and local appeal. Great for people watching, a cold beer, and good bar food! Exceptional staff!

Study the menu carefully; there is a huuuuuge difference in what your bill will be if u order combo dishes vs a la carte. Old, classic diner. Stay away on weekend brunch = lines of hungover yuppies.
