Sit at the sushi bar in front of owner chef Saito-san. He's one of five oldest original LA sushi chefs and has been around since the Horikawa and Shibucho days. His fresh Ikura in zuke is the best.
I've been to both Sushi Roku in Santa Monica and on Beverly. Both are fabulous. Neither will disappoint. Go for great sushi and cool place to hang with friends.

Good deals on the set menu! My favs are the salmon, blue crab, lobster, and uni! The uni is so good. I thought the salmon sashimi dish was alright.

Love the yellowtail and salmon sashimi (not so much the tuna). Seaweed salad is simple and tasty. Very much traditional comfort food.
Manila clams are fantastic and the spicy tuna dip is delicious.
