A nice alternate beach, easily accessible. Not a ton of parking, but the extra parking lot one block up 7th St is a big help when its a bit crowded. Oh, & the coffee shop nearby is good stuff.
Hard to find parking, depending on when you go. Lots of residential streets, but parking on them is permit only the first weekend in April through Labor Day from 11 am - 5 pm on weekends and holidays.
Usually very busy and hard to find parking but beautiful especially for a nighttime bonfire.
The junior double on waffle cone was huge! My personal favorite is Mint Chip here. Tiny parking lot but it is a Santa Cruz institution. Must try it.
Kahlua crunch is awesome. Junior double is huge!!! butter brickle is smooth. The ice creams are thick, not too sweet. The ones with nuts are nutty. Tip the servers. They are great.
Parking is a huge challenge. Neighbors hate the traffic, so park carefully.

Fantastic cavalos. Try the avocado cavalo for a light breakfast. Acai bowl is always great as are all the smoothies. Parking lot is small and has a very small single lane driveway.
Had the beef a cavalier, was delicious. I recommend this dish. The bacon is also great. Awesome breakfast spot. Parking in the back.

the arch at the very north west part of the dog beach is nice for photography. You can get to it during low tide. check your tides app or ask alexa when’s low tide?

Come during the week .. less crowded .... Need to always bring warm clothes ... Even on warm days ... The wind comes up quick and gets cold
They have live music. I get the berry Bleu salad and top it with brisket.
They just opened and have a smaller menu with a variety of BBQ sandwiches, 1/4 chicken and St. Louis Ribs. The full menu is coming soon.
The ribs are hearty and meaty, and the sauce is more than just fire - it's well crafted and flavorful. Pricing is a bit much, but service is excellent and swift.
