Barista is rude and pretentious! But ristretto shot of espresso is solid. Pastries are from macrina bakery but don't bother.

How people understand coffee beverages: I ask for Flat White they suggest Latte, I said - alright, but can you add aditional shot of espresso? They insistef macchiato as an equal option. It was not.

The Cafe Nico was creamy, smooth, and heavy with cinnamon. Espresso shots are powerful and have a nice thickness.
They have a vegan soyrizo breakfast taco, and some vegan donuts! For Americanos remember that all sizes use two shots of espresso so you might want to add one or two for that extra pick me up.
You can get any gelato with a shot of espresso poured on top - cafe affogato - my favorite is still vanilla
Impressive spread of breakfast good and beverages that are not coffee. Plenty of seating and dog-friendly. Definitely worth a stop!
Order in for chocolate square. Try sinfully decadent hot chocolate, only available during winter. Add double shot, trust me, you WANT it! Unlike the regular Mocha disappointment, too watery & thin. ;)
Loving the new Resistencia location!! Try a travelers chai with a double shot of espresso! So good!

If you love gelato, you have to try this place. Chocolate hazelnut. Perfection.
Go 1/2 block west up 78th. At the crest you can see the Cascades and Olympics from one spot. Then go to Makeda Coffee, get a soy latte or iced toddy, and relax on the comfy couches.

If you're going in the morning, make sure you have something to do while waiting in line. Great baristas get you through quick, but it's a very popular Starbucks!

Get the meatloaf sandwich- its essentially a meatloaf bahn mi & it's delicious! Also, get the black tea bubble tea w/tapioca, half sweet - which is plenty sweet enough!
