Not easy to find, but worth it! It's in the basement of building B, in the President Mansion apartment complex. Beautifully curated with many pieces for sale. Allow an hour or less to look around.
I wish there had been more labels, especially for the statues. But such a delightful hidden gem, tucked away in the basement of an apartment building with a guard out front.
Very interesting museum. It's small so only 1 hour or so needed. Tricky to find - it's only got a small sign and in the basement of an apartment block. Walk down the side road on the corner.

The Strip on the 6th floor: great bar. Large lounge terrace has a unique view onto Shanghai. Food could be better. Great place for drinks, meeting the beautiful new money & passing expat in Shanghai.
Apart from the vast range of OPI colours, friendly staff and a hot drink on your arrival, you can also chill out after your mani pedi session at their rooftop terrace during summer!
Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and great manis & pedis. My nail polish usually lasts at least a week. They just remodeled downstairs, looks great.
You can ask for Annie Ling for waxing. She is good/quick and cleans up even in growth hairs.
Lots of cafes and restaurants! Walk around, chill, shop, eat.

Very good affordable Hotel. Rooms has living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, gym, pool and good breakfast. Beautyful view of the area. Recommended!!
Good burgers and even good fried chicken. The burgers are big but not crazy big where everything falls apart. Well crafted burgers.

Breakfast menu very limited for actual breakfast items - only yoghurt and pancakes, both of which were nice but seriously overpriced (68RMB each). Apart from that it's salads, burgers, etc....
The whole bar’s theme is around tea and coffee, but also many classic cocktails. Super friendly service, definitely worth visiting!
You can drink in the afternoon straight to midnight here. Tea cocktail is their special drink. Worth trying

Da Marco has been our go-to Italian restaurant for the past 6 years. But today (April 2016) we found the details falling apart, even though we spotted Mr. Da Marco on the premises.
The best Italian I tasted in China. (Confirmed by the awards!) Rocket salad, codfish, cheese plate, wine, desert all are affordable and delicious! Some great looking deserts were sold out though.
Fairly central location. Rooms are comfortable,'opulent' service apartment style. Staff are more service oriented than your usual shanghai hotel's. Pro: Peaceful and not crowded. Con: gym is gross.

Cool place! Hidden gem ! The restaurant is really nice and cozy, great service, best food and tasty ! Not expensive at all and they change their menu weekly for lunch and monthly for dinner !

If you buy a lot of heavier stuff, you can hire one of these vans to lug all the stuff to your apartment for you. It’s better to ride with them though, they’re not very gentle.

Most things on the menu are just damn tasty. Sangria is satisfying. It’s expensive, but what western food on Shanghai isn’t apart from Macca’s? A delicious slice of Europe in the heart of Shanghai.
Delicious tapas! The former chef now at Loco Restaurant, who designed the menu did a great job! The new chef is doing a very good job also! Btw I miss the not spicy peanuts they used to have! :P
