Bright colorful food. Orange soup, ginger cake. Commune plate was more fried than I expected, or wanted. Good service, great location.

Get in early and try the shajiangji (literally ‘sand ginger chicken’) before it’s sold out at dinner. Incredibly juicy and flavoursome poached chicken sprinkled with a blanket of fried minced ginger.

Brunch was great, as was the service. You're paying ~250yuan though, so it better be for this price.

If you have a complimentary cocktail with your stay, get it. Choose from the "classic" cocktails and they beat most China-made cocktails outside of Shanghai.

Yes, they do have chopsticks, but you have to ask for them and they’re the metal Korean kind. A number of dishes are not spicy Incase you have a pansy or little kid with you. 🍴+🥢

They also have duck breast soup which is not on the menu. Generally speaking they are one of my fav healthy food restaurants in Shanghai. Love it!
