Elaina Powless: Great spot for a quick lunch, get the Ba'al sandwich and the homemade Mint Lemonade for a signature meal. Can't go wrong here, honestly
Oz Lubling: This place is a total find. It has great humus, awesome sides. Great cheap middle eastern sandwiches and platters. Perfect quick lunch place!
Serious Eats: Ba'al stands out with its incredibly creamy hummus and fluffy pita that holds up to messy, overstuffed fillings. We recommend the earthy Beet Sandwich or the fried eggplant Ba'al Sandwich.

Alexis Bendjouia: Had a squash and kale quiche, wasn't too crazy about it. Tasted mostly like cream and egg, but the ambiance was cute, nice place to stop for a quick bite. Maybe other options are better.
Alexandros Plexidas: Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty and healthy quiches and salads, nice coffee and pastries! Small space in the back for working but not free wifi!
Noah Weiss: A cozy French cafe with chocolate chip cookies and a great Toby's Estate cappuccino. If you're hungry, get their toast with garlic scramble eggs. Free wifi, mamannyc is the password.

.: I love the presentation of their crazy shakes, very creative. Cotton candy and cookie shakes were really good.
PureWow: The classic burger is great, but we’re more about “the Mexican”: a chorizo burger with jack cheese, pickled jalapeños and chipotle mayo. Followed by a decadently thick milkshake, of course. Read more.
Alex Rainert: Best burger I've had in a long time. Great sides & a bunch of beers on tap. Seating is all at the bar which gives it a great old burger joint vibe. Finally, the burger salad will blow your face off.
Þorgeir Logason: Pad see eiw w/chicken was the second best Pad see eiw I've tasted. Great service too!
Noah Weiss: The trade here is mediocre ambiance and Instagram unworthy food plating for authentic, spicy as hell Thai food at half the price of Uncle Boon's. It's a great new option.
Eater: This new-ish Thai restaurant focuses on sharp flavors like fish sauce, hot chiles, tamarind, etc. It explores the mix of Laotian and Siamese cuisines in a way unseen before. Try the Sai Krog Isan. Read more.

Jeff Forbes: My go-to is the Fellini: soprasatta, mozzarella, hot peppers, and arugula on focaccia. It's awesome.
WillMcD: Sandwiches are great.... The lady behind the counter is a raving bitch.
Zach Maier: Don't leave the door open. Be ready to order. Don't talk when he's watching movies. Carefully listen for your sandwich when it's called. The sandwiches are great if you can avoid getting scolded.
