Great breakfast, biscuits. Friendly service. A bit overpriced, though.
The biscuits and gravy is out of this world!! Add an egg and enjoy people watching bears fans walking to the game while you eat in the window.
Coffee is very good, tried the jam burger, also very good!
Come early or past noon. Wait times can be annoying. Salmon scrambler is good with biscuits. Corn beef hash with pancakes also an amazing choice. Friendly staff and fast service.
The biscuit and gravy are delicious, but be warned! The eggs come on top of it all. It was much better with the eggs on the side.
Try the french toast. It is great. Also, the skillet potatoes are great.

Eppel's is legendary breakfast in Chicago if you are going to Maxwell St stop by here first. Avoid the impulse buying of food with a good food start!
Steak w/manchego & bacon biscuits in sausage gravy is delicious. Ditch the diet for this breakfast item!

Yummy fall off the bone ribs with a not too sweet sauce! The pigs in a blanket were awesome too!
