SCS has some of the best sushi I've had in Chicago. They also make a great martini. Atmosphere might be considered swanky by some, and would be a hit for date night.
Excellent food. Try the chicken with peas & beets, the local carrots with clotted cream & arugula, tuna cake, & stone fruit salad. For dessert, cheery cheesecake with mint was fantastic. And beer!

EXCELLENT tapas restaurant located in the South Loop, very close to the Symphony Center and the Art Institute. Perfect for a special occasion.
Unfortunately, all of the food was bland and uninspired. Service was nice and the location was cute, but with such boring food, I'm not going to return.
The wait was long, but the payoff was great! We ordered a large deep dish pepperoni for 2 adults & 2 teen girls, and we ate every bit! Wow!! Best deep dish we've had. Ready to go back in a downtime.

This place is DB Central here in the South Loop. As annoying as any shi-shi River North trendy spot. Here's hoping it dies as quickly.
