Loved the appetizers (caviar was special) but the rest of the meal disappointed: the salmon and the chicken were good enough, the coffee cold, the bread pudding lackluster, the banana tart was good.

Cute townhouse with many cozy, dim lit spots for sipping and eating. Burrata with Proscuitto, steak, fish, and the banana peanut butter cake for dessert.

For the Panino Greco, fresh bread is smothered with skordalia, a garlic-y puree. It's velvety, pungent, and the ideal base for a scattering of whole chickpeas, fragrant with thyme and bay leaves.
Great sake selection. Loved the Kurosawa Kimoto. Really refreshing with tasting notes of coconut, banana, vanilla & almonds.
Awesome upscale ramen restaurant. My favorite ramen was the Parma-Karma Ramen with pork.
Good ramen, but even better sushi and buns. Everything was ridiculously fresh, down to their avocados. Slow, but polite, service.
Just say "omakase" (chef's choice) and delicious sushi will start coming. Worth it.

Interesting decor, cool vibe. I went for brunch, the Pastry Misti plate is a sweet treat with each item a perfection (cinnamon roll, marmalade scone, blueberry muffin). Great for sharing.

The only Laotian food in Manhattan, and it's great. Spare ribs, crispy coconut rice with lime sausage, bone marrow with steak tartare, and pork curry noodles. Equally good for a date or a group.
The classic falafel is really filling and delicious! Well worth the money.
Standout falafel in herbal green and spicy red variations--a must for Tribeca lunchers.
