Worst service in NYC. I ordered a Reuben- they were out of bread, sauerkraut, pickles, and cole slaw. They also forgot to put Russian dressing on the sandwich. Not at all apologetic either.
La Colombe Coffee! The lox cream cheese is loaded with salmon. They will also scoop out breading from the middle of bagel if you ask (gluten-lite!).
Get the burger with Russian dressing. Nice to see a place offer Russian Dressing!
Even if the kitchen's closed you can get some potato chips with Russian dressing. Michael the bartender will make you a drink if you tell him what you like. Cozy place. Crowd older than expected.

Romantic Italian restaurant with a menu that changes monthly. Get the Prix Fixe ($70) and add in the Seared Foie Gras. The service here is spectacular.

Unpretentious Italian.
Place is great. Baked oysters, burrata, gnocchi chowder and veal schnitzel were all excellent. Very sleek space, attentive service.
Great brunch selections, especially the croque madame
Short but excellent menu. Chicken meatballs and Yves cheeseburger were excellent! Attentive staff and a chic, yet cozy atmosphere.
The Parmigiana antipasti is simply amazing. The Tagliata "second piatti" is delicious (just skipped the first piatti). It's not in the menu but they can fix you incredible Negronis at the bar!
Finally Gabby Karan de Felice, daughter of Donna Karan, opens her famous Southampton restaurant in New York City. Great Italian food from the Hamptons has arrived.
