The mussels are perfect at this lovely neighborhood restaurant ! The staff is very sweet and helpful especially with recommending wines.
Small, cute, neighborhood-y feeling spot on UES. Not overly French with the cuisine but enough of the bistro vibe. Loved the salmon, tuna and off-menu Cajun chicken. Crab salad is a great starter.

The porterhouse for two was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The meat was tender and delicious. A great choice.

This is the most underated restarant in the city. The steak tartare is probably the best in the country. I've never had a bad meal here. Also, I've never had an issue with the servers being rude.

The salmon is good. The dessert is is a must. My choice was the creme brûlée.
On Mondays they offer a great deal, "The Belgian Feast". For $20 you get mussels (your pick of several great sauces), fries, and a great draft beer of your choice - hoegaarden, leffe, or kronenbourg!
The croques monsieur here is worth the early death it will cause.

The food is authentic French food, pricy, the Profiteroles are to die for.
Tough to beat the trout with pommes frites and a glass of Cote du Rhone. The goat cheese salad is crave-able.

Avoid the Sunday brunch crowd and come on a weekday to enjoy the fresh, buttery scones, herb omelets and the berry-topped lemon ricotta pancakes. Our stomachs are growling just thinking about it...

Had the scallop followed by the chicken tagline (on the recommendation of the waiter) both were excellent!! Hearty and wonderfully spiced.
The 3 course $40 dinner menu on Sun to Thu is a great deal. It comes with your choice of an appetizer, entree, & dessert. The sea bass entree is an extra $5, but the cilantro chutney doesn't match it.
Try the zucchini carpaccio!
