Jessica April: Don't leave without sampling the bloody mary and the cottage fries - and of course the cheeseburger!
Mel Dog: The best cheeseburger in New York City. You get pickes and onions on the side, ask for tomatoes and lettuce as well. Get cottage fries and a Sam Adams on tap for $5. Can't get any better than that!

Nick West: Get the Shack Stack (it's a cheese burger w a stuffed mushroom- sooo much cheese), get cheese fries, and the Shackmeister brew is pretty good too. Their shakes are delicious.
Paddy: Nicest fast food cheeseburger in town. Tasty shakes (I had strawberry) and delicious salted caramel frozen custard. Definitely recommended!
Amanda Thomas: I love the fries. I always get the bacon cheese burger.
Eater: Chef Nicholas Wilber's menu includes light dishes like fluke crudo, white gazpacho, and roasted heirloom carrots, as well as things like chicken Kiev and a bacon cheeseburger with duck fat fries.
Sameer: Bacon cheeseburger
Ramya VP: One of the best brunches in NY (best in UES). Simple yet so complex in its flavors - soul satisfying, no pretension, and incredible incredible service and people- feels like home should be.
Linda Knight Crane: Arnold Palmer is freshly made & delicious! Perfect with bacon cheddar burger or club sandwich made as you order right behind the counter. Yum!
Christian Dickmann: Had a Bacon Cheeseburger and wasn't impressed, a little boring. I have had many much better burgers over the years. The chocolate malt was good (and too much) but also not very special in my mind.
Jason Su: Old school diner, amazing egg cream and homemade soda. Tuna melt and butter cheeseburger were tasty. Would come back again to try other things on the menu
al viciedo: Got the Mark Cheeseburger. The burger hits all my Marks. It’s beefy, juicy, creamy, and subtle delicacy. Read the full burger review at http://bit.ly/1tR0dlX.
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍: The Mark is remarkable! Being a Jean-George's restaurant, everything will come up to your exact expectations. Food is delicious and the ambience is sophisticated while the service is flawless
The New York Times: Yes, this is a JGV restaurant. Still go with a pizza and a simply grilled meat, or fish. Darling, we’re on the Upper East Side! Read more.

The Corcoran Group: Order the cheeseburger deluxe for a great, inexpensive lunch in an otherwise pricy neighborhood. Service is incredibly swift for those on a tight schedule.
David Solimano: Great breakfast and diner staples. Solid coffee shop atmosphere, with two person booths and a very busy counter to sit at. Bring cash and enjoy a gyro.
Liz Marshall: NO PUBLIC BATHROOM! but if you whine enough like i did they'll take you around the corner, down the storm door, and into the scary basement to use the surprisingly clean employee restroom.

Lauren Rosen: First time here. Roasted beet salad and hangar steak are delicious. So excited they moved into the hood!
Kathryn R: Really good omelette and frites! Lovely dining room...feels like being in France...
Victoria Rainert: Small place, noisy but you can still hear yourself talk. Great owner/manager. Pretty authentic French fare. Moules frites, excellent hanger steak. Will go back.
Tom DiMaggio: An upper east side gem, excellent list of rotating craft beers on tap, great food. Come during daytime happy hour for cheap prices!
The Wall Street Journal: The Jeffrey Craft Beer & Bites is one of those places where even hard-core beer geeks may not know every offering on the draft list. Read more.
Brew York: Patrick Donagher has done it again. 30 rotating tap lines at two bars, growler fills, well-executed food, and a big backyard. Grab an NY brew ($5 from 11-7) and marvel at the bad-ass draft system.
Lauren: Best diner on the UES. Solid staples: eggs, home fries, wraps, etc. Great service & staff, too.
Ruben Brosbe: The York Ave is without a doubt the best item on a very solid menu
Anna Osgoodby: One of my favorite diners around the UES. The staff is great, the menu selection can't be beat and the food is delicious!

Paige C: Delicious cocktails and a great menu! Don't miss their tater tots (which are really like balled potato latkes) and their chicken fingers! Good place to meet friends and hang out at night!
MJP: Amazing beer and bourbon selection and even better bartenders. Don't be shy, ask for recommendations and you won't be disappointed. Easily my favorite spot on the upper east side.
Cass Anderson: Deserves to be on any 'best bars in Manhattan' list. Too notch beer selection, even better bourbon selection.
David D: Best slice on the UES. Highly underrated chicken roll, too. Open late for a bite on your way home from downtown!
Ashley: The meatball hero is to die for! I trek all the way up here just for that!
Andrea Arnold: Italian Village is my favorite pizza joint to go to when I visit NYC. I dream about their perfect pizza slices daily. Extra garlic powder, please.
