Live music and belly dancing on thursdays
We love this place. The food and service are consistently good, especially the lamb dishes. On Thursdays they have live music and dancing. Come, drink Turkish wine, eat and have a great time!
This place gets super crowded on Thursday nights. There will be live music, belly dancers and tons of people dancing in a packed restaurant.

Funkadelic 70's themed downtown type bar brought uptown. Movies playing, a funky disco ball spinning and lights creatively dancing with happy patrons on the small dance floor.
For a neighborhood with plenty of dive bar options, this one holds up—good dancing music, decent drinks, and no slobbering drunk.
So much cooler than most Manhattan museums and so uniquely New York.

One of the best Japanese restaurants outside of Japan. Ask for any special sushi/sashimi options of the menu -- they may have something very nice. Also the Ohmi beef is amazing (but $) nocheap :))

Terrific food and service. Daily special of halibut with capers was terrific, as was the chicken, mushrooms and artichoke. Very reasonably priced. Will most certainly be back for another visit.

Fabulous pasta. We tried risotto and two others which were great. Rest of menu seemed more fussy then needed to be. Our squid was doused in sauce that wasn’t needed. Good family atmosphere.

The best place in town for either a nice meal or wine and snacks. They have an amazing selection of wine, cheese and dried meats for their bar snacks as well as a great dinner menu.

Amazing pad Thai! The pineapple fried rice was delicious but it was odd how they added raisins! Next time we want to try more dishes.
Their tom yum noodle soup was pretty good. I loved the topping and it was a bit sweeter then most soups. I wish the there was more broth though.....
Curry puffs are incredible. Order them!
