Wanted to like this place, but had a poor first experience. Waitress couldn't explain what Irish soda bread is, artisanal French toast was very poor, and the regular one does NOT use challah bread!

Not quite a dive bar but certainly not an upscale joint, just a good local spot. They've got pool, darts, and even a basketball game to pass the time. Plus who can argue with free potato chips?

if you're looking to avoid the sometimes crowed bar when stopping in for a bite to eat, ask to be seated in the back dining room. the mac and cheese pie is SO good, just prepare to have leftovers.

NO PUBLIC BATHROOM! but if you whine enough like i did they'll take you around the corner, down the storm door, and into the scary basement to use the surprisingly clean employee restroom.
