Marina Xavier: Just ordered a shortbread and strawberry concrete. 10 minutes later, I get my icecream, melted and without shortbread cookies. Came back to complain, the guy told me "sorry, we are out of shortbread"
Susan McGowan: Get the Smoke Shack. Best burger I've had in a long time. Up there with In n Out.
Time Out New York: Not to be missed: French fries dipped in salted caramel, a.k.a. the stuff stoner dreams are made of.
4. Jacques Torres Chocolate

Chocolate Store · Upper West Side · 60 tips and reviews
City Food Tours: The famous choclatier must be doing something right--he's popping up shops all over! Try some of his decadent hot chocolate, or perhaps a truffle is more your style--either way you can't go wrong!
New York Habitat: The chocolate speaks for itself at Jacques Torres but what goes under the radar is their hot chocolate! Seriously it's almost like drinking melted chocolate. So so good, especially in the wintertime.
Serious Eats: Since these cookies are so chocolate focused, sourcing a really fine bittersweet is key here, this is the time to break out the big guns--Scharffen Berger, Callebaut, or Valrhona are all good picks

Ariel Meade: Delicious house made sodas! And the steak salad was fantastic. I have some very specific food sensitivities & they were amazingly accommodating. Loved the ambiance & warmth.
The Corcoran Group: The newest of the 3 Smith restaurants, this one is a welcome addition to the area. We love to start with the potato chips and blue cheese fondue, followed by the lobster roll or roasted chicken salad.
Jack Price: ok the fucking mac and cheese here is actually the most ridiculous taste I can't even try to describe it, go here if you ever have the pleasure of being in the vicinity
