East Vancouver's Rio Theatre on Broadway is a great venue with comfortably cushy seating to enjoy watching films year-round and during VIFF. Nicely sited near Skytrain and a Starbucks. Read more.

Watch for the Sunday morning film series. You get bagels, a muffin, coffee and juice with you admission.
Also, the seat dividers/cup holders in the theatre can be pushed up so that you can snuggle with your honey. A nice touch :)
Watch out for gums on the theatre seats.... 😠

Great place to see, nice walk into Stanley Park with an icecream. Dolphins show was impressive!
The one thing that really struck me was the Amazon exhibit. Those things they have in the water there are really damn freaky. I don't ever want to go swimming in the Amazon! LOL
The Vancouver Art Gallery is a gem. Perfect for one of the many rainy days.

Take in an exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery, followed by drinks at the charming Gallery Café. The Café’s desserts are divine and the atmosphere is seemingly European.
