This is a hidden gem in Manhattan, with a medieval museum (part of the Met) & park situated at the north end of the island with incredible 360° views of the Hudson River, Palisades, Bronx & Manhattan.

Do not underestimate the awesomeness of this park. Great place to relax and an amazing view of the GW bridge at the top. Its so adorable to see all the kids playing on the playground.

Bike up here and look over the GWB, Palisades, and Hudson River.
Great Bike Trail. You can actually ride down to Battery Park and make the turn to the East River Drive Bike Trail / Greenway and continue up to 34th Street with both Rivers in view.

One of the best bike trails in the city. Especially great if you can ride during the week. On Saturday and Sunday its jammed and not as much fun.

Check out the Highbridge Play Center constructed between 1934-36 it was designated in 2007. The former site of a reservoir, the elevated location of the Center offers views of the Harlem River valley.

There's a Starbucks right on the corner but if you want a cheaper perhaps better alternative for your coffee, cappuccino, latte or espresso fix, I highly recommend park view.
Just tried for the first time. Their mochas are made with TABLESPOONS of Mast Bros and it's cheaper than Starbucks
