Entering this “Last of the Great Rail Way Stations” is like walking onto a movie set from the 1940s – an amazing mix of art deco, streamline moderne and Spanish mission styles.

Historic and still very busy place. There are new shops there which always nice, and there are connections to everywhere. That's a plus in my opinion. Other than that, a nice place to hang out and eat

Tucked into the former telephone room of the 1939 Mission-style building is Traxx, a high-end restaurant that’s a far cry from typical station food. Try the ahi tuna napoleon with crispy wontons. Read more

Love the restaurant Traxx and bar. Exhibits by local artists and a beautiful mural. If you have Dodger tickets there is a shuttle that will take you to the game. Aesthetically pleasing station!

When inside, go outside to the right and through the archways to a secluded courtyard. Grab a sandwich and drink and enjoy the koi pond. Very relaxing way to start a trip.

If youre going to take the train understand etiquette. If ppl are waiting on the platform before you dont jump in front of them when doors open. Also dont sit in the quiet car if you cant keep quiet!

Need an power outlet? The newer Metrolink cars have them spread out among the seats. Look for the cars with silver-colored exterior that don't have lots of bolts (as in nuts 'n bolts).

Late at night they let all the homeless come in and sleep for the night. Every chair on Thursday night at 11:00 had homeless people sleeping in them. Kinda sketchy. Big homeless camp across the street

If you riding the Metrolink's you'll have to go to the window to purchase a ticket on the North West side or buy them from the vending machine on the east side of the building close to the bakery

Help reduce LA smog: take the bus. The LA Metro was one of the first public transit agencies to use alternative fuel on a big scale. The compressed natural gas buses are over 97% cleaner.
