In addition to being a Bloomington institution, Uptown is the best restaurant and bar in the town's heart. The signature dishes are all good, the service friendly and attentive. Big thumbs up.
Love the Eggs Maryland- best crab cake in town. Also love the classic Benedict and the cornmeal pancakes.Upvoted Feb 22

Brunch is amazing. Especially the biscuits and gravy! The bar addition means more seating now too.
Excellent all around. Don't let the creole thing throw you...lots of good stuff here.- Get the Belgian Waffle with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I know it sounds weird. But it's absolutely phenomenal! =)
