After a big Friday night we drunkenly queued for the 5am Tuna Auction (epic) before running through the market and finally curing our hangover with fresh sushi (and a beer) at one of the restaurants.
They happen to have a laser cutter and 3D printer alongside great coffee. Better than reading G2 while you wait for your Flat White, right?
The gadget shops around Akihabara are pretty stunning. Be aware that most of them sell racks of porn as well.
On a Sunday, swing through and see the Dancing Elvises (Elvi?) and wander down towards the Harajuku entrance from some Harajuku girls. Good Okonomiyaki from street vendors, too!
Doesn't have to be this one, but go to an arcade. And do the photo booths. They're amazing.
Forget the Park Hyatt, if you want the best views and the best rooms, stay here at least one night. Sod the expense.
Make sure you visit at least one of these 200+ shanty-style bars. We drank Rum with a chap who looked like an old Japanese Jonny Depp, yet he insisted looked like Tom Cruise. Good guy.
