Great location, excellent service. I loved the Make a Green Choice initiative: give up daily cleaning and receive a $5 food voucher. They'll bring you toiletries and fresh towels if you need it.
The hotel offers 1,100 beautifully appointed suites and rooms and sits just across the street from the French Quarter literally right on the parade route. Read more
Staff was very friendly, elevator system took some getting used to but was really cool. Pool is very small but still glad they had one, gym was very big. Great location in relation to French Quarter.
Nice hotel but very busy as its a conference hosting hotel. Be prepared to wait a little more in the queue and for the phone in your room to be answered. Green choiceroom service available
Unfriendly staff in hotel, Starbucks & gift shop. Best customer service was a late night bar tender and the first porter when we arrived. BUT the beds and the GREEN program are awesome.
Amazing hotel. Customer service at front desk and room service is great. Got bumped to a suite since we were only staying for one night:) thennnn my jack n coke was 9.50 at the bar-Owell!
2014 Jazz Fest tickets $55 per day until day before first day and $70 during the weekend. Sheraton Hotel ticket desk doesn't charge Ticket Master fee of $14.30 and stays open day before to 4 pm.
Nice hotel. Rooms got a great view. But the elevator system sucks! Been waiting for 15 minutes, afterwards I decided to walk. complained at the front desk about it. They gave me free wifi in the room.
Jazz Fest tickets sold without Ticket-Master fee of $14.30. But you ave to buy day pass in shuttle bus for $18. Since RTA doesn't take you all the ways and cabs far more expensive each way, good deal.
Beds & pillows are super comfy. We got a deaf room which was bigger & had a doorbell that vibrated the bed! Room 2111, nice view of Canal. Bathroom was dimly lit & no refrigerator or microwave. Boo.
This place was an oasis for a tired traveler. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. The beds and bedding were high quality. The only negative was the coffee service for the room wasn't stocked.
Hotelstaff very friendly and rooms well appointed and very clean. Steps from Bourbon Street so you can party hardy and then escape the revelry when you are ready.
The beds are super comfy, the shower gets very hot and the views from the top stories are excellent! Beware of the elevators, they can get pretty backed up sometimes.
If you don't mind walking park at Harrah's casino. You can leave your car there for 24 hours and you can get it validated by spending ten dollars at Gordon Beirsch!
This hotel is staffed with friendly and professional employees. The room was clean, however the toilet was not working. The shower has hot water as long as nobody else was taking a shower next door!
The bar service is only good if you sit at the bar. Two nights in a row a glass of water took 20+ minutes and food was 15 minutes later. A/C is inconsistent in ballrooms. Room A/C blew warm air too.
Do NOT park here. Highest in the city. You have many other options close by. Unload then park. I found free parking then paid cab 6 bucks each way. Total savings for 3 night stay...$120!!!!
Enroll in the green programm. Instead of daily room cleaning, they clean the room every other day and in return you get $5 voucher to spend in the bar for the days your room was not cleaned.
Location is good, everything else is not - do not pay for the club level - the rooms are dark, windows and rest is dirty, long lines... huge impersonal and overpriced - I won't be back
The new elevator system is sometimes pretty garbage.. if it is backed up, get on whatever elevator you can and hike the stairwells at the ends of the corridors. youll save lots of time.
Try to avoid this place if it is a music festival or convention weekend. Because of its massive size it gets packed and you’ll spend a LOT of your weekend waiting for elevators. Read more
