Erik RowleyNovember 17, 2012The Wainwright Building was constructed in 1891, making it one of the first skyscrapers in the world.
The original part of this complex, the high rise on the 7th/Chestnut corner, is a local and national registered historic building because of its significance in architecture.
Make sure you feed the parking meters. Meter-maids constantly ticket, boot and tow cars in less than 20 mins.
