- Joseph GoodmanOctober 6, 2014Great cuts of meat and prepared foods. Friendly staff, too. But don't expect good prices or a neat fancy store. A neighborhood shop, but they have to step up their game before whole foods arrives.
- Anna MDecember 23, 2012If you like Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams (and you should), know that you can get a TON of different flavors (including Riesling poached pear sorbet!) here. $$$ but worth it!
- To the woman who made my delicious Parkside Salad extra delicious AND offered me a complimentary chicken wing because I'm having a bad day -- thank you. You are my favorite.
- It's a really nice place- a little bit over pricy. We'll see how it goes when the new Whole Foods opens next year
- Outstanding. Head and shoulders above all others. If you need something special start here.
- Joseph B.October 1, 2019Fancy and unique items, but they still have enough staples at standard prices.
- While overpriced, Straub's has the best soup bar in town. If they have tomato bisque or Manhattan clam chowder, consider it your lucky day.

- Mark PhilipOctober 27, 2009Wanna BBQ like a pro? Get your meat from the butchers at Straub's. Talk to them. Let them share their knowledge. Not only on the meat, but preparation and cooking. You'll be glad you did.
- Straub's has some of the best sushi in town made fresh daily in the store. The prices are very reasonable too
