- Joseph GoodmanOctober 6, 2014Great cuts of meat and prepared foods. Friendly staff, too. But don't expect good prices or a neat fancy store. A neighborhood shop, but they have to step up their game before whole foods arrives.

To the woman who made my delicious Parkside Salad extra delicious AND offered me a complimentary chicken wing because I'm having a bad day -- thank you. You are my favorite.
It's a really nice place- a little bit over pricy. We'll see how it goes when the new Whole Foods opens next year

While overpriced, Straub's has the best soup bar in town. If they have tomato bisque or Manhattan clam chowder, consider it your lucky day.

Mark PhilipOctober 27, 2009Wanna BBQ like a pro? Get your meat from the butchers at Straub's. Talk to them. Let them share their knowledge. Not only on the meat, but preparation and cooking. You'll be glad you did.
Straub's has some of the best sushi in town made fresh daily in the store. The prices are very reasonable too
