- If you are looking for a gym with community and lots of classes, this location is not for you. However has all the machines and space you need for an individual workout...and a basketball court!
- The indoor pool is the reason I joined. It's great for beginners and for competitive swimmers getting back into shape.
- CompassAugust 12, 2013Members love this gym for the boutique amenities, indoor pool, and extensive class list.
- Joe DApril 13, 2014For EAC members of BK Heights, Tribeca, this is a great jumping off spot for a run in Prospect Park.

- If you hate the rat race feeling of a gym, EAC is for you. No matter what time you go, it feels quiet and nobody bothers you during your workout.
- Try the steam room. Most gyms (I've belonged to four) have one, or a sauna, but the steam room at Brooklyn Eastern Athletic is serious—very steamy. You'll be sweating out toxins in no time!

- Because this club is located in a temple, it is often closed at times you might not expect. Always good to call ahead first.
- Not going to win any gym awards...but that pool though.
