- EddJanuary 26, 2019Wasn’t love at first sight/taste but the fluffy fragrant af basmati & well-seasoned tender fall-off-bone chicken really grow on u. No gravy no problem. +Spicy chicken chop if u need ur poultry fix.
- Rupesh KumarAugust 1, 2015Well the review says it. Must try dum biriyani. Defo authentic. Chicken biriyani is better than mutton, still mutton lovers go for it, as it is kid goat and very soft n no raw smell. Kulfi must try!
- Abhishek MittalJune 22, 2014The best biryani in Singapore. Period. Very very passionate people who want to get the best food for their customers. Great quality ingredients and a place we go to over and over again!
- Fairuz Zainal AarifAugust 28, 2021Fluffy and fragrant briyani is a must try here. The rice was kinda spicy at 1st, but once your tastebuds adjusted, you can really enjoy the succulent meat (lamb/chicken) and appreciate the taste.
- A HazetDecember 5, 2022An awarded bib gourmand Michelin HALAL resto, located between bugis-Little India, I strongly recommend their mutton biryani, the tender and juicy lamb in its rice was fantastic #culinarySingapore
- The Kulfi (or Qulfi) is a nice dessert to end the meal here. It's a golfball-sized ice cream with pistachio bits in it.
- Luxsho LoganFebruary 7, 2015While not the most attractive looking restaurant, Bismillah offers some of the most authentic biryani in SG. Try the mutton - you won't regret it!
- Ryan NguyenJanuary 21, 2016Mutton briyani is the best I found in Singapore so far. Try the ice cream as well.
- Cheen The CuriousMarch 29, 2018The free plain water being referred to is tap water, available at one corner at the back of the seating area. An ice box is also there
- Supraja MuthukrishnanApril 5, 2019The baby goat biryani is the best mutton biryani I have tried so far. The lamb chop bhuna is a must try as well. It's very soft and you will definitely savour it ❤️❤️
- Jess ThiaApril 8, 2015Big portion of nice fluffy-textured rice, but so-so portion of meat for the expensive Biryani in an old coffee shop environment. Dessert: Kulfi (thick creamy ice-cream with some nuts) is unique.
- XY TSeptember 10, 2016Less sweet lassi stays true to their mission statement: "Making money is our secondary objective. Making good tasting and least unhealthy food is primary. Taste counts but your health matters most."
- Having tried Yakader, Alauddin, Islamic and several others, I rate this one the best - Not heavy and oily like some others, even if it is more expensive.
- Cheen The CuriousMarch 29, 2018Their briyani style is the dry rice type, served without any gravy — unlike elsewhere in Singapore. Fragrant & spicy though. Just not something I enjoy eating again
- Discover SingaporeAugust 4, 2011Eating the dum biryani here is an absolute must. Cooked with passion by ex-adman Arif with fresh, (relatively) healthy ingredients, it certainly lives up to the claim of being the best in Singapore!
- Cheen The CuriousMarch 29, 2018My $9 serving of chicken briyani was mostly dry, many mouthfuls of over cooked rice. Didn't enjoy this style. I’ll stick with Gayatri & Sakunthala nearby, or Zam Zam & Victory along North Bridge Rd
- Yuri KraymarJanuary 24, 2015Best Dum Biryani I had in Little India, hands down! Pair with the Mango Lassi and get the Kulfi for dessert.
- Lewy JonesApril 29, 2015Order a kulfi for dessert and lick, don't bite so you can savour the complex flavours of the caramelised milk
- Jordan SimNovember 4, 2012All the Indians come here. Highly recommend the mutton biryani. Generous serving with great taste for less than $10.
- Sanjayvarman RavindranAugust 8, 2013Best dum briyani ever had !!!...the briyani is perfectly moist...one can just have with without any curry
- Omprakash RudhruJuly 29, 2013Better than what I have tasted in tekka centre. Hope they give some gravy. Biryani is dum n it needs little hyderabadi touch 😜
- QOctober 15, 2014Really authentic. Cramped up sitting area & in Singapore humid weather, the place is not for those who love aircon areas only.
- MACFebruary 8, 2015Goat meat briyani is super expensive at $15. Chicken briyani is $8. Kulfi is very creamy at only $2.50.
- Xiulian LinMay 3, 2012Would've been pretty epic if they include side dishes+curry in the biryani set. As for the rice being the best, I really couldn't say otherwise.
- Cheen The CuriousMarch 29, 2018For an established & mature restaurant, I’m surprised by the lack of communication between the cashier & the kitchen. The kitchen doesn’t know you hv ordered & paid for your food
- Travis ScavoneFebruary 27, 2019Definitely the best biryani I’ve had. Mutton is definitely the best choice.
- MACFebruary 8, 2015Briyani rice is softest around. But note that it's Pakistani style. No added gravy, quite dry.
- Mark AshworthSeptember 2, 2013The rice is really tasty. Good enough for Anthony Bourdain, good enough for me.
- Maurya PatnaikJanuary 12, 2012The Biryani is heavenly of course, but u shud definitely try the Shami Kebab. It's amazing!!
- chian chai chiaSeptember 11, 2014Mutton biryani on M,W,F at $10, baby goat biryani on other days at $15.
- Hasham MuhammedMay 10, 2014Reach here before 8 PM. It's a small and simple place but food is really awesome!
