- Albert GunawanJune 22, 2013If you are looking for the most sinful kway teow in Singapore, Yong Huat is the place. Generous portion (the small size can be shared by 2 people), lots of cockles, and their fried pork skin is crispy
- BikramNovember 5, 2016The Baan Thai stall has a small but great selection. Both the Wanton Noodles and the Braised Pork Leg are excellent and priced very reasonably.
- Cheen The CuriousDecember 18, 2019Fried mee suah. While Yong Huat is popular for its char kway teow & fried Hokkien Mee, I also enjoyed their Mee Suah. Wet, lots of 'wok hei' & generous ingredients 👍🏼
- Pearlyn HahaSeptember 14, 2017Yong Huat's hokkien mee has been here and it's soooo good. the broth is 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 (I asked for mine to be wetter)
- Cheen The CuriousDecember 18, 2019Just want a small bite? They have traditional kaya toasts (& other filling options), soft-boiled eggs, sandwiches, waffles
- Thomasina OwchJune 15, 2013Foie gras has a goosey afternose. :( sprite float cones with ice cream in a cup and sprite can on the side. Thing about floats: ice cream always goes in last because the foam adulterates the float. 😡
- Desiree KohMarch 11, 2013How disappointing - you'd hope for good, solid food to go with a nice selection of craft beers. Stay away from the Japanese, do the Hokkien mee - it'd go well with one of the Trappist ales.
- Hawker by day, bar by night. Serves great bar grub from ramen, burgers to bbq pork. Great selection of beers and ciders.
- Cheen The CuriousDecember 18, 2019A wide selection of beer. On tap are German beers (pilsner, Dunkel lager, wheat beer)
- Alvin ChanAugust 4, 2013never had a stout without head. here's a place to have one if you want to see something new. attentive service nonetheless!
- David WormleyDecember 17, 2015Great selection of craft beers from across the world, and they know their stuff!
- Qi CDecember 8, 2013Forget about the breakfast set of toast and eggs. Use margarine instead of butter. Kopi C also cannot make it.
- Guy BlondeSeptember 28, 2014Taco from Burger Bar ok, chicken wings and prawn sticks disappointing. But they serve Kriek !
- Fairil YeoJanuary 10, 2016Chicken wings from the Korean shop is nice if you're craving without a choice.
- Melissa ChanApril 7, 2012The fried bee hoon is fantastic! Same ingredients and style as fried kway tiao! This is skill!! :)
- New Pinoy food stall is very good. Run by Michael and his wife. Adobo and skinless sausages my favorites.
- Char kuay teow from Yong Huat is good as is the Ginger pork rice from the zhi-char stall. And try the taukwa pau!
- New operator, Sarah, has cleaned up the place and now offers free wifi too. And the tea is better. <happy!>
- @tinhead Raj TanejaAugust 16, 2014Tactical nuclear penguin the world's second strongest beer for only 148 Singapore dollars
- Char kway teow is awesome, might be too sweet for some though. Tau kwa pau just average. Homemade ice lemon tea is good stuff.
- Baan Thai noodles was nothing like the photo on the menu. Miserable few thin slices of pork.
- Lesley JohnDecember 31, 2010Char kway teow with extra lard on the side. Don't tell your cardiologist.
- Tao Kwa Pao across the road (126 east coast road) is better.
- Jamie JoohanderMay 11, 2012The tau kwa bau may look good, but auntie is unscrupulous and the food is expensive and lousy.
- Formerly D'Orange coffeeshop. Famous Yong Huat kueh teow stall is still here.
