- Christopher JohnstonJune 16, 2017Great place to get a view of Seattle from above. If come on a clear day you can get a shot of the city and Mt. Rainer in the background. Bring a DSLR, a tripod, and lens in the 50-70mm range.Upvoted Mar 17
- Awesome view of Seattle and Mt. Rainier on a clear day. Grab some Molly moon's ice cream a few blocks over and enjoy your snack with a view!
- Windows Live Photo GalleryOctober 29, 2010Stand on the bench closest to the city to get over the trees. This is the postcard shot of Seattle with the Needle in front of the city. For more of a fun shot frame the Space Needle in the sculpture.
- Didier DorgaApril 10, 2017Great views! Worth the trip up the hill. Before getting there, stop a couple of blocks up the hill first to Molly Moon's for some delicious ice cream and enjoy it while sitting on the wall.
- Kristine GelsanoNovember 19, 2014Aside from Alki, this is one of the all time best lookout points to see Seattle's skyline.Great place which includes downtown, Space Needle, ocean, and Mount Rainier. It was breath-taking.
- Offers one of the best views of the city rain or shine, night or day--but it's postcard perfection on a clear day at nearly sunset when "the mountain" (aka Mt. Rainier) is out.
- Rachel EubanksMarch 11, 2014Really and truly the best view of Seattle. Definitely a hike from Belltown/Downtown/any neighborhood near the water but worth it. Better than the view from the space needle!
- Sarah FoleyMarch 12, 2015You can't get a better, closer view of the Needle than at Kerry park. Yes, touristy. But still an awesome view especially when the mountain is out!
- Allie CaudleMarch 6, 2019Small park, big views! These views of all of Seattle and on a clear day Mt. Rainier are second to none. If this is your first trip to Seattle don't pass this up.
- KarstenJuly 22, 2015Scenic but in the summer, keep the a/c in the car running so you can sprint back post-photos
- Marizza Witt-DoerringApril 20, 2015It's quite a hike to get to on foot from downtown but worth it for the best views of the skyline. Not much open space though.
- Whether visiting this spot coupled up or single, this breathtaking view of Seattle is bound to give your spirits a boost. Great memories here... #TrueStory
- Phuong NguyenMay 16, 2018With my 16 years in Seattle, I'd have to say this is my favorite spot to see the Seattle skyline. Surrounded are stairs and hills - it makes for a great workout!
- If coming from Lower Queen Anne, stop for a glass of wine before or after at the Sitting Room and take the more romantic stairs nearby versus straight up Queen Anne street.
- Vicki TranMarch 2, 2015Best view of Seattle! The roads can be very narrow with high inclined, so be careful!
- Sue-Yen YongSeptember 25, 2013Fantastic view of Seattle & the space needle - take a no 1 or 29 bus to get to Kerry Park from downtown. Helps you up that hill for USD2.50...
- Kirill KukuruzaSeptember 2, 2017The best view in the city is here. Do not spend money trying to get to the Space Needle.
- During the summer, bring your out-of-town friends here and snap your very Seattle looking pictures. Look up at the clouds, too!
- Rebecca OhmenOctober 12, 2013Absolutely beautiful! A great place to see the city from a different angle, have coffee and read a book. I would imagine very romantic at night.
- The quintessential view of Seattle with the Space Needle, downtown, and Rainier all within the same field of view. Come here on a clear day.
- Connie LuOctober 3, 2013Awesome panorama view of the Seattle skyline. Especially beautiful during sunrise & sunset, but also at night when everything is aglow.
- Kelly JenningsJuly 18, 2015Sunset views in Summer are incredible! It's very windy even in Summer so rug up!
- Rachel EubanksMarch 14, 2014Amazing. Go a bit before sunset when the sky is changing rapidly. Bring a lover to smooch or a beer to sip (sneakily).
- Alice HuangJanuary 28, 2016Classic views of the Space Needle with Rainier in the background! Amazing at sunset. Watch out - the park is tiny!
- Brian IbarraMay 4, 2016Parking is gonna be a hassle but the view is priceless and worth the trek to see for yourself

- Lydia AmmosovaDecember 1, 2010A gorgeous view of downtown Seattle, the Space Needle & the water! This is definitely a place to start snapping away! Wowza! Zing! Plus a great historical neighborhood to explore too!
- While you're here, don't forget to check out (and check-in at) the nearby Marshall Park for an equally spectacular view. It's at the corner of W Highland Dr and 7th Ave W!
- Chris LindhartsenDecember 4, 2011Probably one of the most iconic views of the city. Photos are great, but seeing it in person is even better, especially during sunset.
- Transitions® lensesApril 18, 2012This park offers the best view’s of downtown AND way uptown, as in the Space Needle and Mt. Rainier! See Seattle’s highest sights! #seemoresights
- I like it better at night. A lot less people and you sorta feel as though you're on top of the world. Great place for thinking...
- Sandeep ParuchuriFebruary 10, 2018The best view in Seattle, period. Why bother going up in the Needle when you can picnic in Kerry Park?
- Kyle McLainApril 28, 2017Gorgeous views! Go on a sunny day. Can also walk the stairs and through the neighborhood for exercise.
- Martin RisgaardSeptember 12, 2013Go here both by day and by night if you get the chance. Skyline looks awesome when the lights come on as well as by day.
- DreaDecember 27, 2016Surprisingly it's not crowded. I grew up in the suburbs of Seattle and we did all our "before dance pictures" here
- Brian IbarraJuly 4, 2016It's a lot smaller than it seems on tv but still so worth the view even with the clear lack of parking
