The arch is an amazing feat of engineering. It's a national landmark that just cannot be missed. Great views from the top. If you've never been & appreciate history then it’s definitely worth visiting

My dad helped build this monument. Great views at the top. If you are claustrophobic, you may not like the 5 minutes it takes to get topside in the odd little elevators...

Love the Arch so much I have tattoo of it! For real though, one of the coolest, random, and most futuristic monuments in the world. I love trying to find all the different places to view it from.

The ride to the top was cozy. The top of the arch was the most incredible view imaginable. Then on the ride down, there were only two of us in the "car" and it was still cozy, but even more fun!

This is one of the most impressive manmade objects I’ve ever seen. Day or night, I felt weak in the knees looking up at it, from all angles.

Construction is done on the park. You have to see it once in your life. Brand new visitor center. Take the elevator to the top for spectacular views of the city and the Mississippi

I highly recommend going to the top. On weekends plan to be in line for hours. We went during the week in August with no lines and saw the sunset. BEAUTIFUL! The museum is interesting as well.

You've got to do the ride to the top at least once. I've found Sunday evenings to be the least busy, I had the usually cramped egg shaped lift to myself. No lines, did it all in 20 mins!

Catch the earliest tours (if possible) to avoid the crowds and you can be in and out in 45 mins!

St. Louis's most famous landmark is undeniably the Gateway Arch. Situated alongside the Mississippi river, a ride to the top of the arch provides lovely views to both the east and the west.

From the time you arrive at the arch, allow 2-2.5 hours to view museum & go up in arch & back down. Free street parking on 4th @ walnut. 😉

Amazing place to visit. 630 foot monument which is the world’s largest! A tram will take you to the top.

I was there too late to take the elevator (which is fine, because heights are evil), but the arch itself is absolutely amazing. Going in, I thought it would be great, but it's actually amazing!

Go to the Arch on a clear 60 or 70 degree weather day with a light breeze. The view from the top is amazing! Make sure to also go around the park once you are done with the tour of the Arch.

Very busy on the weekends, but going in the evening was AWESOME! Going up it was a lot of fun, and even though we didn't feel the Arch move, the view was awesome!

Beautiful stainless structure. Worth going to the top for sure -- unique elevator system and reasonably priced admission. Best views of the Mississippi.

On a windy day, the Arch sways - a little. No worries, though - It’s meant to sway one inch per 20 mph of wind & up to 18 inches in 150 mph winds. For more insider tips, follow @MoonriseHotel. Read more

We got nice shots from the top in spite of it being overly crowded up top. Not sure the point of appointed times when no one pays attention and they send so many people up at one time nonstop.

Buy tickets online to skip the lines... Also, you can buy tram, movie, cruise, and parking tickets in packages to save money. Tram is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Parking is $6 or $4 before 9 a.m.

After you take in St. Louis' most iconic landmark, head north to Laclede's Landing. A warehouse district in the 19th century, it's now home to some of the best restaurants in the city.

The ride to the top is a bit noisy and rocy while sitting in the drum. It seats 5. The tix are $10 for adults. Its 636 ft in the air and YES you can feel it swaying in the wind slightly. lol

They are literally ruining the Arch. I will not be back. I loved sitting or laying in the grass underneath. Now. It is going to be solid concrete. so sad. We lost our bit of paradise within the City.

There are 2 entrances and the North one tends to be much busier than the South. If you are standing in line go to the other side!

Glad I did it so it's off my bucket list but wow it's crowded and air conditioning couldn't keep up. I'm a bit claustrophobic so it was a challenge but the ride up and down is only 4 minutes.
