- Mattias WachtmeisterJuly 29, 2015Show up early to avoid lines which build during the day. Overall great day excursion, If over the age of 14 the level 9 experience probably makes sense if you are willing to pay a bit extra.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Anna VladauJune 9, 2015I planned on visiting for 2-3 hours as I only had 1 day in Houston. I ended up spending 6 hours. The 2 tours are worth it since they lead you into the NASA facilities.
- M BDecember 27, 2014Buy tix online (save $5), eat before you go (expensive considering choices), do the tram tour, go as soon as they open to avoid the crowd and on Fridays you can meet an astronaut...you're welcome!Upvoted 1 week ago
- Blair AllenAugust 22, 2018For tours, exhibits, and IMAX movies galore, visit Space Center Houston! The tram tour is my absolute favorite – sometimes you even see the astronauts and crew training!Upvoted 1 week ago
- José Miguel González PáramoSeptember 5, 2019It is a museum, try not to think of it as a theme park and you’ll have a great time. The new Apollo 50th Anniversary Command Center is the best! Reserve your tour the minute you get there!
- Waquas HussainFebruary 13, 2016Blue tour is only 1 stop at the rocket park. Takes about 40 minutes. Red tour is longer but most wait times are 1.5hrs on weekends.
- Dan JonesMay 29, 2016If you plan on taking the tram over to the Johnson Space Center (and you should!), get reservations so you don't have to wait. Also, bring a pillow to sit on, as the tram seats are very uncomfortable.
- Petr J.March 19, 2019What a great museum! You can spend a whole day here. Tram tour to the control room and rocket exhibition was my favorite.
- A TristenJune 15, 2022The exhibits were well maintained and current. The best was the historic white tram tour of the control room, a must see!
- A Girl TouristJuly 26, 2019If you want to go to the Mission Control tour- go to the little computers just past the help kiosk and get your free ticket first. They run every 30 minutes, but you can’t get on the team without it.
- Henna SaleemAugust 10, 2021Book the Simulator ride prior to visiting. Book yourself on the tour to the actual rocket launch site. PRO TIP: Get the tickets off www.rush49.com at a discounted rate. You can thank me later.
- A Girl TouristJuly 26, 2019Gets busy, little direction on things to do, but definitely a worthwhile experience. Make sure to get your mission control ticket (free) first.
- mathew murphyAugust 28, 2013Start with the tram tour. To see both mission control and the astronaut training area requires two tram tours, annoyingly enough. Most of the exhibits in the main building are geared towards kids.
- Falk T. PuschmannDecember 28, 2013The Level 9 Tour isn't cheap, but a real tread for every Space fan. You get a lot closer to the things than with the other tours. I recommend not taking the tour during Holiday season.
- LeonJuly 24, 2014If you're over 25, I'd skip most of the exhibition which is geared towards kids and get onto the tram tour!
- Cheyenne PeerNovember 21, 2015I've been going here since I was a small person. Nothing has changed in years except the touring shows. I always hope for something bigger and more grandiose from a Smithsonian Institution.
- Cenker KöseOctober 28, 2018After visiting hundreds of museums in the world and in the different continents, this is the most interesting one since still millions of things to discover...
- Mighty QMarch 17, 2017Get tickets online ahead of time. Timed tickets for tram & orbiter tours are limited quantities, but you avoid the lines. check for discounts. got $5 off per ticket www.tickets.spacecenter.org
- Blair AllenAugust 19, 2018 For tours, exhibits, and IMAX movies galore, visit Space Center Houston! The tram tour is my absolute favorite – sometimes you even see the astronauts and crew training!
- KenApril 2, 2015Nice day out with the family or for those with an interest. Spend a full day to see everything. Worthwhile if you have a half day as well.
- Ben-jammin Black mon'September 1, 2014You may be limited in your experience if you have a baby/stroller. You have to leave your stroller for potential sticky fingers for the tram tours. Still fun for the kids.
- Muhammad Fikrie FarhanOctober 18, 2015Tram tour is mandatory, although its queue was way to long.. But you can always take the VIP tour if you have an extra money 😅
- Shell UnderwoodJuly 23, 2013The NASA team at SCH was so friendly! If you are early, 9am you see more! I had a private tour of the exhibits just because no one was there yet!
- LilibethFebruary 15, 2016Come early to catch all the shows & the tours that are included in the price. If you come in the PM, you might miss a lot. Kid friendly
- CamiliaApril 27, 2018April is the best season(weather )to NASA. No waiting in line. Save time to join team tours.
- Hyun Ku KangDecember 1, 2014"MUST SEES" never let me down. Recommend you taking the tram tour, approximately 90mins for a whole trip.
- Brian BernatzkyFebruary 7, 2016Huge disappointment. Looking for a cool place to experience the history of space flight, this isn't it! The space shuttle is a replica as are most items on display. Tram tours disorganized. Sad.
- Randall TyykilaJanuary 23, 2015Great information about our current manned space program as well as historical information. Be aware that gravity is in full effect.
- Michael S.September 14, 2013Be sure to take the tour at Rocket Park. Fascinating info on the Apollo flights and a full scale Saturn V rocket
- Sean WheelanDecember 30, 2012Make sure you have plenty of time to explore, there are plenty of things to do to take up a full day - especially of you have young kids with you!
- Geoff RykenFebruary 5, 2014Some great space artifiacts are in the Starship Gallery. Apollo 17, the last manned spacecraft to orbit the moon is there. You can skip the video and get right to the space goodness.
- Booker FajardoJune 18, 2018Very informative and interesting...come early to experience the fun and excitement
- Vincent NYDecember 29, 2012Great play zone for kids up to 56" . Can bring up balls to the 2nd level to use on slingshot!
- Bugra CelikMarch 22, 2015Here lies history. Mission control and Satrun V are must. But you can find much more artifacts at Smithsonian.
- Praveen GoparajuApril 12, 2015Excellent!! Rocket park is wonderful. Saturn V launcher is really amazing. Must watch for all.
- Curtis DeWittAugust 7, 2012If you have little ones you may want to stand, hard to get up and leave the mission control room seats, or sit on the end if a row!
- AddisonJanuary 9, 2021Very spacious and lots to see. Come on weekends and expect a little more volume.
- Eric CNovember 9, 2014Great fun. Flight simulator is awesome! Tram tour to Mission Control was great. Loved seeing the Saturn rocket too!
- Kamilah WatsonSeptember 2, 2013It was a cool experience.....do everything from 3S shows to the tram tour....and just everything !!
- Sandy WinnNovember 16, 2018Tram tour is good. All the displays and accompanying videos are very informative.
- Caio GaioskiOctober 3, 2019After see everything at the museum, go to the NASA tram tour the visit the buildings and see what NASA is actually working
- Ms HeleneJanuary 10, 2015Small but informative if you're interested in spacecraft and discovery $24 adult, otherwise not worth it
- Mihai DumitrescuJuly 28, 2017The place offers information about the space exploration, about the sciences and people that were and are contributing to this endeavour.
- Bitchin' AmySeptember 21, 2013Just given a valuable tip from the staff: Rain ponchos on the tram tour are no help if it's pouring outside.
