Great neighborhood. Especially in summers. Nice views of city. Take the ferry to/from manhattan (or walk across the bridge).
Dumbo General Store is now called Almar. New owners from Noodle Pudding restaurant in BK Heights. Great paninis for lunch and Italian dinners.

Kimmie OhhMay 6, 2020DUMBO = Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. However, Down Under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Overpasses also seems to make sense imo.
This is a nice area with a lot of cool things to do. There are bars and lounges, restaurants, the Brooklyn bridge park, and the carousel
