- Giovanni D'PalmaApril 30, 2017More than just beer, the food was delicious. The pretzel bread starters were delicious. Ask for spicy mustard. The brat-burger is also a must try! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Tony CooperOctober 19, 2014Pretzel sticks with Hefeweizen cheese sauce are the tastiest munchie-cure ever. Their Pumpkin Ale is also incredible if you enjoy your pumpkin ales more on the side of pumpkin pie in beer form.
- Riverfront TimesAugust 4, 2014Freshness is king at Bottleworks, from the beer brewed on the premises to the homegrown, organic menu. When the weather is warm, the courtyard features live jazz and folk music. Read more
- Erik RowleyAugust 28, 2016Nice beer garden with live folk music the night I was here. You can't go wrong, Schlafly produces great tasting beers and is Missouri's largest independent brewery.
- Rod JacksonAugust 18, 2017We sat outside on a beautiful night. The menu was different than what we had expected, but the food was great. We really enjoyed our dinners and took food home. Be sure to get the applesauce!
- Sheri GuinnDecember 29, 2013If coffee stout is in season, drink it. Mmm. Everything I've ever had here is great! If you're looking for some dessert, though, you can't go wrong with the berry cobbler and oatmeal stout ice cream.
- Sarah DemkovichSeptember 5, 2015This place is just so pleasing to look at! Great beer and great detail in the setting. A cozy place to come with a date or a fun place to go with a group.
- My favorite time to get lunch here is on Sunday when they're serving brunch. I don't care for their usual sides, but on Sunday you can get the breakfast potatoes with your sandwich.
- The toasty was good but has to be the messiest thing I've eaten to date. Outside of that go for the porter or stouts cause they nailed it with them.
- Never had a Schlafly beer I didn't like, but the APA is my favorite. Prefer dining in the bar to the dining room despite no table service. For grub I like the brat burger and potato salad.
- The market is great. Shopping locally grow fruit and veggies while enjoying an alcoholic beverage what's not to like about that. They also had a dog treat stand.
- Logan TrentadueNovember 17, 2015I got the grilled cheese sandwich and added goat cheese. It was very tasty. Love the homemade applesauce. Service wasn't amazing but we had a great time!
- Abdul HakkimDecember 31, 2013The taproom serves a variety of house-made microbrews, including an exceptional coffee stout. Frequent Cask Nights give patrons the chance to sip unfiltered. - © 2013 BuzzFeed, Inc
- Bottleworks is my favorite out of the two Schlafly locations. I love the pretzels with beer cheese, and the pretzel-encrusted chicken.

- Michael CSeptember 13, 2015Fantastic St. Louis beer destination. Great burgers, sandwiches and pub food. Get a craft beer flight and a growler to go.
- Try a flight of beers to taste new things. The pretzels are a must have! They also have a great gluten free menu.
- This is my go to place if I want to stay close to home or have a fun night out. Pick a spot at the bar and you're golden the rest of the night.
- Colleen MooreMarch 23, 2015Did not do tour wish I had but the pretzel sticks and sauce were a great appetizer and mixed the coffee and vanilla stouts that wee interestingly good.
- Big fan of the pumpkin stout amongst many other beers they have on tap here
- Jzika HoaglandSeptember 21, 2012The gardeners tell me it's okay to bring your beer into the garden and stroll about. Also, veggies from the garden are most likely to show up in the specials.
- The best brewery in St. Louis. Get the pumpkin ale if they have it.
- Go! MagazineSeptember 1, 2011This year's version of Pumpkin Ale seems to have amped-up cinnamon and nutmeg flavors and toned-down clove flavors, resulting in one of the best vintages in recent memory. (Evan S. Benn) Read more
- Barry AustinMay 10, 2017The best food in St.Louis, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, if you don't pay much you don't get much !

- Greg LowerySeptember 17, 2019Good food, live music, patio, friendly crowd, great beer selection, what else could you need?!?
- They will grab your half full glass of beer out of your hand when they are closing. Beers are average at best for a craft brewery and their more adventurous beers are rarely on tap.
- Go! MagazineJanuary 28, 2011Quite possibly the best black-bean burger in town. Wash it down with a Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Oatmeal Stout, Pilsner or one of various seasonal selections. (Evan S. Benn)
- John KazmaierAugust 9, 2011Free dessert on your birthday apparently...awesome! The Sticky Toffee Pudding is as good as everyone says. It's like a melted Heath bar on cake...yes please!

- Stellaa DuhartApril 4, 2015Their Vanilla stout was pretty good. And if you are just having a snack, try the hummus.
- Jen CunninghamJuly 9, 2014I was more hopeful that the beers would be amazing. Unfortunately, I thought the lighter beers were too light and tasted watered down. Bummer. The curry was decent, though.
- Check to see if there is a special release on tap. Sure, it may just be beer. But there's a special amount of love that goes into these brews.
