The cumin lambnoodles (ordered spicy) were delicious but I may take the spice down a notch next time. I love hot food but I wasn't expecting it to be this hot. Definitely helped to clear my sinuses!
If you're looking for authentic-ish Chinese street food, Xi'an Famous Foods fits the bill. The noodles are chewy and good. Try the spicy and tingly beef noodles. Not super spicy, but has some spice.
One of those places you want to come back to try all the dishes. Simple Chinese street fare dishes with a delicious spicy oil. The noodles are here are very tasty.
Interesting place for simple delicious noodle dishes. The hand cutnoodles are made in shop and the meats are perfectly done ask for the amount of spicy you want. Selfserve. Try dumplings and burger.
The spicy lambnoodles are a must. I mean a little bit too spicy maybe but still amazingly delicious! Had the dumplings and this great HitachinoJapanese beer.
Never been able to find anything quite like Xi'ans! The N9 (beef noodles) are my go to. Dumplings are also amazing. Pro-tip -- if you are not into spicy just ask to get "mild" or "no spice".
Great to have in the area - love that they don't water the spice level down for the neighborhood either - I'm looking at you UWS location of HAN dynasty! - I digress - the lambnoodles are legit.
Happy this N. Chinese hand-pulled chain is part of the UES. Try their Spicy & Tingly Beef Noodle, the OxtailNoodle & my fave are their Spicy & Sour SpinachDumplings.
Get the spicy & sour lamb dumplings. They're perfect. Also, don't miss the spicy cumin lamb noodles and douse it in black vinegar sauce. It's a party in your mouth
As always, a fine Xi'an experience with lambnoodles and the lamb burger. I get it with the hawberry tea though be warned that you may want milk instead for how spicy it is.
Pretty good for fast food. Pulled noodles of lamb and of pork had lots of flavor/cumin. Noodles were nice and chewy; meat was sparse but the lamb was good. Pork was off to me. 3.5/5
