Get a Focaccina- the bread used is a soft and eggy brioche roll, and once the ice cream is inserted inside the hollow pocket, it's similar to a jelly donut, only the filling is pretty much solid.
Get the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce-The steaming dish is garlicky in the extreme, and the spiciness comes from strips of green chile.
Get the crispy fried whole pink snapper, which arrives in a broth-y sour curry, heaped with a julienne of peppers that pack a little heat. Served with sticky rice, it's an altogether satisfying dish.
