Korean food in NJ can be a bit pricy, but they do get it right. Here are my top spots. It's tradition to make at least 3 stops in one night when you do it K-style, so you can breeze right through it.
238 Broad Ave (at Brinkerhoff Ave), Palisades Park, NJ
Korean Restaurant · 42 tips and reviews
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: Everything, EVERYTHING, is so good here. Korean BBQ, hot soups, cold noodles and sushi/sashimi. That said, I usually opt for the Gal Bi Tang. Go for lunch if you're looking for a stellar deal.
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: Open 24/7, this is either an excellent late-late night spot or a perfect early morning stop. Sul Lung Tang is really excellent between 1 am and 1 pm. P.S. They serve drinks.
329 Bergen Blvd (btwn E Central & E Palisades), Palisades Park, NJ
Karaoke Bar · 13 tips and reviews
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: This is my parents' third restaurant in the NYC metropolitan area. Best part is the basement level karaoke where you can get a pretty large room for you + your friends. Excellent for a priviate party.
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: I, like many Koreans, love both pho & shabu shabu. Pho 32 lets you create your own shabu shabu sauce blend in the sauce bar. Also, try not to shop on your way out. Two super cute shops right outside.
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: Hands down my favorite soju spot in the U.S.A. What to do: go with 1-5 friends, order soju & beer, eat clam soup and/or budaejjigae. I once went to avoid my mom and ran into her here. I stayed.
Yuna 🇰🇷 Park: Boon shik (aka casual Korean dining) is not my favorite, but if you want to experience it, this is the spot. Odeng, ramen, kim bap, katsu, frozen yogurt, spicy rice cakes -- they have it all.
