- Chris MessinaOctober 31, 2014This 16-year-old handcrafted cocktail pioneer hidden off of Broadway caters to an old-timey crowd (no TVs here), so it's no surprise their Old Fashioned stays close to the first recorded recipe.
- GrantlandJuly 17, 2016Don't come close to closing. At 1:30 they'll tell you you can stay until you finish your drinks and at 1:40 they'll swing by and pour out your drinks because fuck you.
- CITY GRITAugust 1, 2014Hands down this is one of the best beverage lists in the country. The cocktails are impeccable (Imperial Suckerpunch, The Firebird, and the Knock Knock were our top picks).
- Jared RousselDecember 16, 2016Love the cocktails, love the look, enjoy the bartenders. Food has been off base. Fries are consistently over-salted & served with homemade but very runny ranch dressing. Would love to see this fixed.
- WhiskeyAvengerJune 14, 2018This place is all about sherry. Though their cocktails are imaginative and run the gamut of all types of spirits, the native Spanish drink is king here.
- Ashley MowreyNovember 15, 2014It's all about the brunch. The hashbrowns are fantastic, like a gourmet McDonalds hash brown (don't lie and tell me you don't have a nostalgic taste for those) and the mushroom omelet is perfection.
- Super busy on weekends, more accessible during late nights and weekdays. Cocktails are imaginative and bartenders are super knowledgeable. Kitchen is open late with always delicious food.
- Madison KontioMarch 7, 2017Pimm's Cup is amazing... sketchy location (my mom thought we were going to get jumped or something before we got here). Bartenders are exceptional! 9/10 💕
- Try the croque madame for brunch. Or get the bone marrow fritters and add them into a yo mama burger.
- JamieNovember 12, 2014Cute cocktail bar. Also a good spot for brunch. Look for the Romolo street sign and walk up the hill to find this hidden spot.
- Amy BDecember 21, 2015Hidden gem in a bit so nice part of town. They will seat you which keeps the crowds down. Great service too.
- Craig McGreeFebruary 21, 2017Great barmen & staff! Go here and enjoy an evening of great drinks and service, you will not regret it!
- Great cocktails. Don't be afraid to order food, too. You won't be disappointed!
- Emma GammelloOctober 28, 2015This is my favorite bar in the city. The atmosphere is amazing and the bartenders are out of this world!
- Jennifer SlotnickMarch 19, 2016They have pitchers of Pimm's cup and Sangria for happy hour. We really liked the grilled octopus at dinner.
- heatJuly 19, 2013Tucked in an alley behind Stripper Row, 15 Romolo is a quiet, nondescript speakeasy that serves light, local foods with strong, tasty cocktails.
- Tammy GordonApril 1, 2011Loved so much about @15Romolo. Back alley ambiance, adorb hipster bartenders, insane cocktail list & killer locally sourced eats. My order: Troubled Waters, Tempura Avocado & Romolo Salad a pulledpork
- The ever-changing cocktail and brunch menu keeps things interesting.. If you're there for brunch, make sure you get the waffle shots! Definitely one of SF's hidden gems.
- Daniel StansellApril 24, 2017Brunch. Waffle shots, great brunch cocktails and some seriously good food. Chicken + Waffles is the way!
- Evan RachalMarch 5, 2011The cocktails are delicious, just ask your waitress or bartender to suprise you; the food is equally yummy, cheap by comparison to other places; get the tempura avocado or the burger dirty south style
- Nader FarzanAugust 13, 2014A fantastic respite in an otherwise tumultuous stretch of Broadway. The food is as good as the delicious cocktails!
- SubhadraApril 22, 2017Great spot for brunch! Love the chicken and CHURRO waffles plus the pork belly and egg.
- Will BertelsenJune 8, 2014It can be kinda a shitshow, but they have a very good cocktail menu and efficient service, which makes up for it.
- Alexandra PaunMay 2, 2017I went off the menu and asked for a martini. It looked nice, but it was so watered down i could've had a pitcher
- Kelsey KotzebueDecember 4, 2017Great happy hour spot, delicious cocktails. Order the French fries, perfect for 2 and tasty!
- Alex SilarajsAugust 10, 2018Better to get in and out before 9:00pm. Great spot for happy hour, but becomes crowded and douchey after 9:00.
- Pavan KulkarniMay 31, 2019Beautiful hidden her. Almost has a speakeasy ambiance. Chicken wings and cocktails are pretty good
- Bradley PeppersJune 24, 2010Very trendy and in an aly way that is hard to find. Drinks are creative and the liqour selection is way beyond amazing and extensive. The bartenders are friendly and you should have The Blue Moon Redu
- Best brunch in North Beach!!! The skillet hash is delicious! And the punch is worth coming back for every time! Punch Drunk Brunch FTW!
- LindseyAugust 1, 2012Totally off the beaten path and completely worth it. Delicious and reasonably priced artisanal cocktails and food--get the Pimm's Cup!
- First of all I don't like chicken. However the baricuas wings are the shit they are adorned with coconut, chili, lime and cilantro. Double yum!! Plus the cocktail program is fantaboulos!
- Bart C.May 1, 2013This may be minimally helpful, but there's an Icelandic beer on the menu that's relatively cheap and very good -- worth ordering
- Kirk HerlitzMarch 29, 2015Great cocktail and beer selection. Nice dark, speakeasy type feel off the beaten path.
- Max Blue 🚴🍔November 17, 2014Nice cocktail bar with knowledgable bartenders. Order a Last Word made with Fernet, you'll love it.
- Sofie GrahamAugust 9, 2014It's a little out of the way, but this is a chilled place on weekdays, and a fun bar on weekends. Just another decent bar.
- TOMSFebruary 10, 2012Gem of a bar – dark and classy – go on a bustling Friday or a quiet Monday to sip their signature drink Track 42 and catch up with an old friend over some tapas.
- I love this neighborhood gem. Great, low price brunch. The pork belly skillet and housemade sangria are delicious.
- J SJanuary 21, 2017Located in a sketchy alley. But awesome paella and def recommend the Darjeeling drink.
- Love the drinks and vibe here, but it's often too crowded to be enjoyable.
- GeoffNovember 20, 2012The fried chicken sandwich was on another level. Get it with no pickles and spinach and you'll want another when done!
- If you don't know what you want, ask the bartender what should go with your favorite flavor (mine is brandied cherries). These kids make good drinks.
- Frances JamesJanuary 17, 2015Tiny hidden spot in N Beach - great cocktails and food. Good for brunch
- Jerry DarkoJanuary 21, 2014Get the peanut butter burger. "Yo mama style". Add bacon. Don't add cheese. Trust me.
