The Deal Memorial Bandstand is a memorial to the eleven Royal Marine Bandsmen who tragically lost their lives as a result of the bombing of their barracks on 22nd September 1989.

Although most of Sandown Castle has been destroyed there exist a number of early plans and views which provide information on how its original form. Now known as a neighbourhood area close to the sea.
Lovely atmosphere - no a/c can get crowed & feel hot - live music & nibbles if you're lucky....and ohh they have wine😀🍷☺️

Deal Castle is a 16th-century coastal artillery fort, located in Deal, Kent, England, between Walmer Castle and the now lost Sandown Castle. It is now in the care of English Heritage.
It's worth mentioning Deal received the High Street of the year award in 2014 - it's art & crafty shops by the market sq & the many quirky coffee shops & sea views make it a pleasure to visit/live.
