Great find. The food is excellent (especially the chicken under a brick entree and octopus appetizer) and prices aren't outrageous. Not to mention the ambiance. Jazz and candles? Date night win.

Cozy, down to earth French in the LES. $40 Prix Fixe Mondays: aperitif, appetizer, entree and glass of wine. Well presented, solid French at a reasonable (for Manhattan) price.

The low lighting and rustic decor create the perfect ambience! Appetizer portions are small. Skip the octopus, but try the duck.

Simple but elegant. A new favorite (loved the risotto and the truffled asparagus). The affordable wines will definitely get us to return.

Their website says they open at 11 on weekends. Their employees will tell you that they open at 12. Have fun guessing which one to believe!
